The Pink Elephant Fund was established in 2007 to provide mammogram scholarships to residents of Limestone County who do not have medical insurance or whose insurance does not cover mammograms. Since then, the fund has grown to provide scholarships for mammograms, new technologies that detect breast cancer sooner and other women's health supplies.
Thanks to the City of Athens, you can also purchase a pink garbage can where proceeds benefit the Foundation’s Pink Elephant Fund.
