Athens Limestone Hospital Wellness Center has been serving Limestone County and surrounding areas since 1999. At ALHWC our staff cares about providing a high-quality service to our members. Our 30,000 square foot facility provides many amenities including Group Fitness Classes, Child Care, physical therapy services, massage therapy, and 24-hour access. Members of our ALHWC also have access to all Huntsville Hospital System Wellness Centers including Madison, Huntsville, Jones Valley, and Decatur.

Membership includes full access to facilities and classes at all nine of Huntsville Hospital Wellness Center Locations in Athens, Huntsville, Madison, Decatur, Jones Valley, Helen Keller and Marshall North & South. Our "No Contract" policy allows members to manage their fitness needs with financial freedom. We only require a 30 day notice to terminate your membership!

Our qualified, professional staff are available daily to help meet your fitness needs. No matter if you are just beginning or a veteran to the fitness community, we are confident that our facilities will meet your needs. The personal training services that are available through the Athens-Limestone Wellness Center can be that guiding force to help you reach your personal goals.

Play Care

The PlayCare is a service provided by Athens-Limestone Hospital Wellness Center for children ages 2 months to 10 years. We offer a supervised play area for your children while you exercise. Only the parent or legal guardian is able to utilize the PlayCare service. Our employees will strive to make your child's stay as safe, comfortable and pleasant as possible.

  • PlayCare Hours:
  • Mornings: Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.
  • Evenings:  Monday - Friday 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
  • Closed Saturday and Sunday
